研究表明代谢风险因素是缺血性心脏病的主要驱动因素

武汉大学李红良、Jingjing Cai和Hailong Yang课题组合作的基于2019年全球疾病发病风险的研究表明,代谢风险因子是缺血性心脏病(IHD) 的主要驱动因素。这一研究成果在线发表在2021年9月2日出版的国际学术期刊《细胞-代谢》上。

研究人员通过应用全球疾病负担研究方法分析了1990年至2019年全球IHD的发病负担和15个相关常见风险因素。研究发现,在这段时间内,全球因IHD导致的死亡病例稳步增加,而死亡率却逐渐下降。值得注意的是,代谢风险因素已成为IHD的主要驱动因素,这也在很大程度上造成了大部分IHD相关死亡病例由发达国家转移到发展中国家。这些发现表明,迫切需要采取有效措施来控制代谢风险因素,以防止IHD相关死亡人数的进一步增加。

据介绍,代谢功能障碍越来越成为许多合并症发展的主要因素。在全世界所有心血管疾病中,IHD仍然是发病率最高的疾病之一。然而,代谢风险因素对IHD的影响尚未完全得以表征。

Abstract: Metabolic dysfunction is becoming a predominant risk for the of many comorbidities.Ischemic heart disease (IHD) still imposes the highest disease burden among all cardiovasculardiseases worldwide. However, the contributions of metabolic risk factors to IHD overtime have not been fully characterized. Here, we analyzed the global disease burdenof IHD and 15 associated general risk factors from 1990 to 2019 by applying the methodologyframework of the Global Burden of Disease Study. We found that the global death casesdue to IHD increased steadily during that time frame, while the mortality rate graduallydeclined. Notably, metabolic risk factors have become the leading driver of IHD, whichalso largely contributed to the majority of IHD-related deaths shifting from developedcountries to developing countries. These findings suggest an urgent need to implementeffective measures to control metabolic risk factors to prevent further increasesin IHD-related deaths.
